Hills Grammar is seeking the following Music Tutor to join our school’s outstanding faculty based in Kenthurst.
Piano Tutor/Accompanist - background in music therapy and available before and after school preferred
Key Priorities
- Teaching weekly lessons to individual students from Junior to Senior School age
- Accompanying choral rehearsals (choirs each Wednesday)
- Potential for conducting and preparing a weekly music ensemble
- Before school, during and after-school teaching times, available depending on both tutor availability and allocation of students.
Education and Experience
- Qualifications and experience in teaching individual lessons, ensembles and small group teaching to both Junior and Senior school students (experience from Kindergarten to Year 12 is desirable)
- Strong working knowledge of music curricula
- An understanding of and commitment to the educational needs of a wide range of students
- An ability to use ICT to facilitate and enrich student learning and engagement beyond the classroom.

Classification: Instructional Services
Hours of work: Casual. Teaching load dictated by availability of Tutor against allocation of students.
