Music Tutor - independent contractor, providing exceptional music tuition to students in individual and/or group lessons, as requested by parents. The role may also be involved in the direction of music ensembles.Who will the successful applicant be?
- Recent experience in teaching piano to students K-12, with a particular strength in teaching students K-6
- Passion and enthusiasm for music, including a heart for encouraging students of all abilities
- Knowledge of recent developments in the theory and practice of music pedagogy and specifically how this applies to teaching piano
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the rest of the Performing Arts team
- Confidence in the use of technology and a willingness to embrace it to enhance communication and learning
- An understanding of and support of the School’s Christian mission, values and ethos
