- $122,830 to $130,115 (Level 9) plus 13.75% superannuation (WA)
- $138,005 to $146,499 (Level 9) plus 13.75% superannuation (NSW)
- Manage the delivery of Student Wellbeing support services across the university that are responsive to students changing needs.
- Lead the development and maintenance of Student Wellbeing frameworks that support students continued engagement in study.
- Assist in the university response to student critical incidences in accordance with university policy and procedures.
- Provide leadership across the national Student Wellbeing team, including staff management and development, to ensure services are provided ethically and in accordance with scope of practice, policies and university objects.
- Provide strategic leadership in the development and delivery of student engagement activities across all schools and campuses to promote Student Wellbeing services and the facilitation of proactive wellbeing activities to current and prospective students.
- Manage the delivery of services to students and staff in relation to sexual assault, sexual harassment, family and domestic violence, and student grievances, and in relation to the delivery of Student Wellbeing initiatives.
- Supportive of the Objects of Notre Dame as a Catholic University.
- Possession of a relevant postgraduate qualification and/or working towards a postgraduate qualification with an equivalent combination of extensive experience in as similar role and education.
- Demonstrated experience in the Higher education sector and understanding of the factors that impact Student Wellbeing and retention.
- Demonstrated skills to manage and provide authoritative advice on policy, procedure and legislation.
- Highly developed judgement and decision making about complex matters, bound by principles of procedural fairness.
- Ability to build positive relationships with strong interpersonal skills to influence, negotiate and achieve consensus at senior levels on sensitive and complex matters.
- Demonstrated strong judgement and resilience in handling sensitive and confidential issues in accordance with rigorous standards in a complex environment.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills including demonstrated ability to quickly assimilate new concepts and information and deliver positive, innovative solutions.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver defensible hearing outcomes and findings, papers, reports and proposals for all levels of the University.
- Hold exceptional time management and organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to respond to changing priorities, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
