Workforce Solutions is the learning, training and resourcing arm of the publicly listed Engenco Limited (ASX:EGN). Within Workforce Solutions, the Centre for Excellence in Rail Training (CERT) and Eureka 4WD & Truck Training are our Registered Training Organisations which provide responsive, flexible and innovative training, assessment and recertification services to the Australian rail and other heavy industries. About the Role

Forming part of the Senior Leadership Team, and reporting into the Executive General Manager, this role is absolutely critical to reshaping and leading the way on our journey of transformational change.

The National RTO Manager is required to apply their vast vocational education operational knowledge and experience, strong commercial and financial acumen, and well-developed leadership skills to achieve forecasted profitability and business unit objectives. This includes facilitating major tender and business case submissions; seeking and applying for Government funding opportunities; maintaining key client relationships; and providing inspiring and balanced people leadership.

This role can be based in our Head Office in Melbourne, Queensland, or Sydney.

Please note this role is for an initial 6-month contract.

Key Responsibilities, including but not limited to, are:

  • Manage and monitor the operational and administrative functions of the business unit to achieve client satisfaction and profitability.
  • Seek and develop growth opportunities for the Workforce Solutions Division (CERT and Momentum) across multiple channels and revenue sources.
  • Manage and sustain relationships with existing and potential clients, industry associations, government bodies and other stakeholders.
  • Liaise with clients to determine detailed service requirements and ensure client orders are backed by clear contractual/ trading arrangements.
  • Directing, monitoring and reporting on business unit operations and administrative activities and performance.
  • Oversee delivery of training to ensure quality and compliance in accordance with EGN, ASQA and other stakeholder policies.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following keys skills and experiences:

  • Proven nous and results delivering strategic commercial and financial objectives.
  • Experience and / or a demonstrated understanding of B2B & B2C vocational education and training systems, processes and practices within Rail or aligned industry sector.
  • Proven ability in driving change and growth in teams and individuals.
  • Strong governance, people management and process control.
  • Well-developed analytical and planning skills.
