Support the management of the national participation and education portfolio, in line with the Volleyball Australia Strategic Plan and Participation Plan. The National Sport Development Coordinator under direction of the Sport Delivery and Growth General Manager has the responsibility to support the successful execution and administration of participation programs, resources, and services relating to the portfolio including but not limited to:
- Developing collaborative working relationships with each Member State and their staff in delivering agreed national participation priorities through shared services and regular meetings.
- Research, design and distribute resources and assets for club development ensuring their growth and sustainability.
- Research, design and distribute resources and assets for Volleyball’s Inclusion Strategy ensuring their growth and sustainability.
- Research, design and distribute resources and assets for Volleyball’s development program ensuring their growth and sustainability.
- To meet the sports goal of growing Sporting Schools delivery nationally guided by the Participation Plan and the National Participation Framework review the training and accreditation methods for deliverers used by Member States to develop a National Sporting Schools delivery team.
- Some travel within Australia may be required.
- Any other duties as reasonably required by the Sport Delivery and Growth General Manager, Director of Sport Delivery and CEO.
