About the role

Please apply now to this part-time permanent role within Council’s Environmental Services and join our fun and dedicated family based at the Moruya Administration Offices. This role with primarily focus on implementing Council’s Natural Resource Management (NRM) programs, including the Eurobodalla Flying-fox Management Plan and Coastal Management Plans. Your duties will primarily include:
- Facilitating the implementation of various Natural Resource Management programs, including the Eurobodalla Flying-fox Management Plan and Eurobodalla Coastal Management Programs.
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinating budgets for necessary grants.
- Offering professional, relevant guidance to members of Council, landowners and the community.
Total remuneration for the role is in the range of $44.63 to $53.10 gross per hour comprising:
- $40.21 to $47.84 base salary
- $4.42 to $5.26 superannuation (calculated at 11%)

- Tertiary qualifications (or equivalent) in Ecology, Natural Resource Management, or Environmental Management or Sciences and a demonstrated theoretical, and practical, knowledge of the industry and specific NRM programs.
- Experience in ecological/wildlife monitoring and knowledge of Grey-headed flying-fox management, is highly desirable!
