About You

You will have the ability to identify and meet the needs of individuals with barriers and challenges within their lives and create opportunities for them to achieve their goals in their NDIS Plan.
You will build awareness about Joblink Plus, the programs delivered and support services for all people and use this knowledge to establish credible stakeholders’ relationships and networks across the community, employers, and other services.
You will have (or be prepared to obtain) an NSW Working with Children’s Check, National Criminal History Check and an NDIS worker check.
About the Role
As an NDIS Consultant, based in our Tamworth Office, you will be part of a dedicated team supporting people on their journey to achieve their goals.
You will provide practical support to eligible individuals with and NDIS plan to strengthen their abilities and skills to achieve the goals set out in their NDIS plan, ensuring that funding is used appropriately, utilising the individuals choice and control.
You will engage and build rapport within the community, employers and with other services to further assist and create opportunities for the people we work with.
This is a part-time role of 25 hours per week.
Criteria will include:
· Lived or working experience working with people with disabilities
· An understanding of NDIS
