About Your Role

This newly established Allied Health clinician position will provide guidance, leadership and advice to MLHD services on matters relating to consumers accessing the NDIS.
In collaboration with other staff in disability specific roles, you will provide consultation to MLHD staff regarding disability related needs, adjustments and services for people with a disability who present to emergency and/or are admitted to hospital. 
A key responsibility of the role will be to build the capacity of MLHD staff to meet the health needs of people with a disability.
You will also be the key contact for all NDIS related matters, including NDIS escalations, Ministry of Health reporting requirements and advocacy. This role is open to a range of Allied Health disciplines with clinical expertise and experience working with people with disability. 

Location negotiable within the Murrumbidgee Local Health District for the right candidate, with a preference for candidates based close to our major centres of Wagga and Griffith. Part-time appointments may be considered for exceptional candidates.
