Role details
As an Occupational Therapist at Goal Coach you will provide individualised support to people including those in the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
Key Responsibilities for this position include:
- Conducting assessments, including functional capacity review, assistive technology and housing assessments.
- Report writing.
- Provide evidence-based assessment and interventions.
- Provide safety planning with your clients.
- Designing and implementing therapy plans to assist clients to reach their goals.
- The role is flexible and provides the opportunity to work from home.
- Manage a caseload and achieve key performance indicators including billable hours.
Your background
The role requirements include:
- Approved qualification in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration
- Willingness to adapt your therapeutic approach into an online delivery format.
- Quiet and professional office space and access to reliable internet connection.
- Preferred but not essential is experience working in the NDIS and/or broader OT experience including working with children / adolescents, and experience working in community mental health or exposure to mental health services (including mental health presentations)
