Job Title: NDIS Operations Coordinator
Job Type: Full-time (Monday – Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm)
Location: The Jetty Village Shopping Centre, Shop G8/361 Harbour Dr, Coffs Harbour NSW 2450
Pay: $45 - $50 an hour, exclusive of superannuation
Reports to: CEO/Owner
About Complete Support & Co:
We are a small NDIS Provider that has expanded and grown rapidly over the past year; therefore we are looking for a new addition to join our team and assist in coordinating the day-to-day operations of the business.
We provide a large range of quality services to our participants under the NDIS, such as Community Access, Personal Care, Gardening, Cleaning, Supported Independent Living, and Short & Medium Term Accommodation.
We are looking for a dedicated, passionate, and hardworking allrounder who enjoys overseeing the operations of an office and ensuring compliance in alignment with NDIS Standards.
As a NDIS Provider we are passionate about what we do, like to think outside the box, go the extra mile for our participants, and work to the best of ability as a team to provide quality support to our participants and our amazing Support Workers.
The Role:
This is an allrounder position where you will be assisting in a variety of areas. Your main duties will include:
- Supervise and lead a team of 30+ Support Workers and 5+ Administration staff.
- Ensure company compliance aligns with NDIS standards.
- Develop and implement Policies and Procedures.
- Uphold Work Health and Safety standards.
- Provide (paid) on-call support to staff and participants afterhours one week each month.
- Attend relevant events – network with stakeholders and market the company. (This may mean occasionally attending weekend events).
- Draft and manage Employment Contracts.
- Conduct staff inductions, including completion of relevant paperwork, and teaching them how to use our work app ‘Shiftcare’.
- Perform general administrative tasks, including managing phone calls, emails, etc.
- Assist with rostering as needed to ensure efficient staff allocation.
- Reviewing Participant Service Agreements and organising for participants to sign them.
- Creation of Supported Independent Living (SIL) Roster of Cares.
- Conduct participant intakes, including meet-and-greets and completion of relevant paperwork.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to foster communication and teamwork.
- Address and resolve staff and participant complaints in a timely and effective manner.
Skills & Experience:
Essential:
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in a NDIS management-related role (i.e. Support Coordinator).
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills – the ability to fit seamlessly into the team, diplomatic, friendly, and amiable.
- Face-to-face marketing skills for effective promotion and representation.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and forward-thinking mindset.
- Proficient in computer and technology use.
- Understanding of NDIS Guidelines, the SCHADS Award, and NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits.
- Willingness to travel (paid) if we expand.
- Class C Driver’s Licence.
- Working With Children Check (WWCC).
- Police Check.
Highly Desirable:
- Knowledge on Respites, SILs, STAs and MTAs.
- Qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
