The role:
As an NDIS Engagement Officer, you will provide high-level support to the business, ensuring clients with
NDIS funding can access services to achieve their goals. This includes but is not limited to providing
training for NDIS processes, the development of accurate documentation for service agreements and quotes,
and funds reconciliation to ensure payment of service.
Key Duties:
- Provide high-level support to clients with NDIS funding, ensuring access to services that align with their goals.
- Conduct training sessions to empower Service Delivery personnel in navigating NDIS processes effectively.
- Develop accurate client services agreements, generate service quotes, and reconcile funds to ensure compliance with NDIS standards.
- Collaborate with Plan Managers, liaise with sector stakeholders, and keep abreast of relevant sector information and changes.
- Schedule meetings, develop agendas, document meeting minutes, and maintain data spreadsheets to support the team's goals.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with others.
- Ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
- Qualifications in Administration or Human Services; or significant experience in a similar role. Knowledge and understanding of NDIS/ disability/ aged/ mental health funding standards and guidelines.
- Engaging Service Managers in negotiating change/ options agreeable and beneficial to the client in line with legislative and funding body requirements
- Ability to obtain an NDIS workers screening card and working with children check.
- Ability to obtain and pass a police check.
