An exciting opportunity to make a difference supporting professional development for early-career academics.
NECTAR is the Network for Early Career Teachers, Academics and Researchers at ANU, an initiative led by and for early-career academics (ECAs).
NECTAR provides a forum for ECAs to formulate, develop and support activities that address issues relevant to ECAs. NECTAR seeks to initiate, support and promote University activities aimed at enhancing the experience of ECAs at ANU. As part of its ECA development activities, NECTAR delivers a career development mentoring program.
We are seeking a highly motivated and equity-conscious Coordinator with excellent organisational and communication skills to provide a range of administrative support including delivery and coordination of the NECTAR mentoring program, coordinating career development training for early-career academics, and providing broad operational and administrative support for all NECTAR activities.

Position overviewWorking as part of the team in the ANU Network for Early Career Teachers, Academics and Researchers (NECTAR), the NECTAR Coordinator will will undertake a broad range of administrative tasks relating to activities and programs of NECTAR. They will also assist with other initiatives relating to early-career academic development as part of the broader NECTAR program. The role will provide high-quality advice and support services to the NECTAR team and liaise with stakeholders from across the University and broader community on matters including career development, mentoring and ECA experience.
