Job Location: Remote Office, acting as a dedicated HR partner for our clients, is on the hunt for a .
NET Developer (GrandNode) with a high level of motivation and experience to enhance one of our client's teams. In this role, you will develop GrandNode applications using .NET Core, enhance the front-end, collaborate with an agile team, write scalable code, design user interfaces, deploy features, document releases, and contribute to architecture decisions and project management.
Responsibilities:- Develop GrandNode Applications: Utilize .NET Core technologies (ASP.NET, .NET Core, .NET MVC, REST API, Entity Framework) to build robust and scalable GrandNode applications.
- Front-End Development: Work with JavaScript frameworks to enhance the front-end functionality of the applications.
- Team Collaboration: Engage with an agile team, including senior developers, scrum masters, marketing, and customer success teams, to deliver optimal user experiences and outcomes.
- Solution Development: Anticipate application requirements, provide solutions, and evaluate effort and requirements based on project documentation.
- Scalable Code: Write clean, modular, and scalable code that provides tangible benefits to users.
- UI Design: Design and build a functional and visually appealing user interface that is intuitive and practical.
- Feature Deployment: Deploy new features across testing, production, and staging environments.
- Application Maintenance: Maintain and support existing web .NET applications.
- Documentation: Accurately document product releases.
- Architecture Decisions: Participate in architecture decisions and software pattern selection.
- Project Management: Utilize tools like Jira, DevOps, and MS Teams for sprint management and participate in the analysis and design of new functional requirements and systems.
- High-Quality Standards: Develop and uphold high coding standards aligned with design principles, libraries, and industry best practices.
- Independent and Collaborative Work: Function as a proactive team member, taking initiative in backlog tasks and collaborating effectively without micromanagement.
- Working with complex spreadsheet to .NET app conversion.
Experience Requirements:- Industry Experience: 3+ years of development experience in a professional setting for c#/.Net technology, preferably within an Agile team environment.
- .NET Core Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience with .NET Core 5.0, including ASP.NET, .NET MVC, and REST API development.
- Database Skills: Proven experience in designing databases using MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel will add value.
- GrandNode Proficiency: Significant experience working with GrandNode or similar cross-platform, open-source eCommerce solutions.
- Web Development: Proficiency in web technologies including ASP.NET, .NET Core, C#, HTML, and JavaScript.
- API Development: Demonstrated ability to design and develop robust Web APIs.
- React JS and ThreeJS: Experience with React JS and a working familiarity with ThreeJS for front-end development.
- Azure Management: Practical experience using Azure for sprint, pipeline, release management, and task tracking.
- E-Commerce Functionality: Clear understanding of e-commerce functionalities, features, and user experience considerations.
- Plug-In Development: Experience in creating and managing GrandNode plug-ins.
- SDLC Knowledge: Thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) phases.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and estimation skills with the ability to quickly debug issues and provide both short-term and long-term solutions.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with business, quality, and support teams.
- Collaboration and Independence: Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team, taking initiative on tasks without requiring close supervision.
- Learning Agility: Openness to learning and working with various software stacks, languages, and frameworks as needed.
Role Requirements:- Proficient in .NET/C#: Solid understanding and hands-on experience.
- Excellent in both spoken and written English.
- Familiarity with MongoDB or similar databases.
- Proficient in using Azure for version control and work item management.
- Experience with GrandNode or similar e-commerce platforms is highly desirable.
- Good proficiency in Excel, beneficial for complex spreadsheet-to-.NET app conversion projects.
