UGL Regional Linx are looking for a passionate & enthusiastic Network Rules and Procedures Manager to join our team.

The CRN – Country Regional Network ensures the safe movement of people and goods throughout the regions of NSW, and links Sydney to many of the State’s important regional centres.

Job Purpose 

This role ensures the UGL Regional Linx CRN Network has a current, valid and relevant set of Network Rules and Operating Procedures to manage the day to day operations associated with the CRN.  

Network Rules and Procedures span all divisions of the UGL Regional Linx business and must be adhered to in order to maintain a safe and efficient operating network for those requiring access to the CRN Rail Corridor. 


Key Responsibilities

•    Custodian of the UGL Regional Linx Network Rules & Procedures.
•    Custodian of Country Network Local Appendices (CNLA’s)
•    Development and Publication of SAFE Notices
•    Represent UGL Regional Linx at Industry (Rules) forums.
•    Actively participate in the Rail Industry Safety and Standards Board (RISSB) Rules Development Group.
•    Regular Intra-state and some Interstate required
•    Identification and remediation of any potential OH&S risks.
•    Ensure contractors compliance with WHS plans and provide assurance through regular audits.
 

Qualifications

•    Certificate IV in Front Line Business Management
•    Qualified Protection Officer (Desirable)
•    Qualified in Safeworking systems or be able to attain qualifications in Train Order Working, Rail Vehicle Detection, Pilot Staff working and UGL Regional Linx Sigview System.
•    ICAM Certified 
•    Qualifications in Training and Assessment will be highly regarded.
•    Detailed knowledge of Network Rules and Procedures development and approval process
•    Detailed understanding of Work on Track activities
•    Ability to articulate complex Safeworking discussions and develop and implement solutions within the Network Rules framework.
•    Detailed understanding of Train Operations and Network Control Functionality.
