ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role you will be a driven and energetic graduate with strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to demonstrate your skills in a multidisciplinary team. You will be a motivated, passionate graduate, who thrives on supporting those people around you both patients and colleagues.

You will be comfortable with simultaneously running a fast-paced caseload, nurturing client relationships, and applying best practice strategies and processes, using case management technologies. This growing practice believes in high quality, evidence based, innovative, compassionate, and collaborative services to the betterment of children, their families, and the community. Successful applicants must be passionate about working with individuals with significant disability and providing a wholistic approach to intervention, education, and support. You must be adaptable and resilient and have a strong desire to work with a dynamic team.

You will require the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification
  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Experience with NDIS (preferred)
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Australian Police Check

About the ROLE:

  • Paediatric Case Load from 3 y/o to 18 y/o- chose your age groups if you would like!
  • Clinic and community-based (Hybrid)
  • Assessment/report tools provided.
  • Laptop and phone provided.
  • Own desk- No hot spotting! Make your workspace your own J
  • No overtime, EVER! Have a work life balance J 38 hours is what you are paid for, let that be it, we don't work for free! J
  • Senior OT available for.

  • Flexible working environment- we are not an employee, or work colleagues, we are a family.
  • Low KPI's- only 20 billables per week required.
  • Admin provided.
    • No service agreements to do.
    • No referral forms to complete.
    • Client is already on the system.
    • Your choice to If you would like to book your own clients into your schedule or if you would like admin to do this to free up your time.
    • Therapy resource development provided (if required)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Undertaking and evaluating complete home-based participant assessments and producing comprehensive reports for applicants applying to become a participant or already on the NDIS scheme to support the continuation of funding.
  • Collaborate closely with participants, their families, and carers to provide a comprehensive assessment of their functional capacities and identify the best course of action.
  • Effectively devise person-centred, evidence-based therapeutic intervention plans for every patient specific to their individual requirements.
  • Continually assessing, reviewing, and evaluating programs or treatments
  • Implementing effective strategy on useful methods for patients with limited speech, cognitive impairments and other barriers to their participation and engagement in therapeutic process
  • Maintaining documentation in a professional and confidential manner and in accordance with company policies.
  • Supporting parents through the processes of learning and home program implementation
  • Liaising with other treating professionals to discuss individual's progress.
