Please be advised that a pre-employment medical, inclusive of a fitness test, baseline hearing test, and drug and alcohol screen, is a requirement of employment at V&V Walsh. We also now require all incoming staff to be Q-fever vaccinated. The Q-fever vaccination will be a part of the pre-employment medical.
Skills and Experience:
- Willing to work night shift (Sunday night to Thursday night schedule)
- Be physically fit and be able to pass a medical
- No direct previous experience is needed but is preferable
- Must be comfortable working around meat products
- Must be comfortable working in cold areas
- Have reliable transport
- Safety focused
- Be reliable, punctual and flexible
- Have full Australian working rights
We pay in accordance with the Meat Industry Award (Casual workers start at Level 1 with the opportunity to progress levels). Please note that night shift attracts a loading on base rates.
