About the role:The Night Shift Electrician is a full time, salary position, based at Schofields working 12-hour shifts, with 4 nights on and 4 nights off, working 5pm - 5am. Reporting to the Engineering Manager this role is responsible for the successful maintenance of all CSR PGH Schofields site machines and operating systems (electrical focus). To work closely with the Engineering manager, to protect the company assets, people, and environment and to develop a safe working environment for everyone onsite. Key Accountabilities:Ensure quality of factory maintenanceEnsure quality of electrical work (project and repair)Ensure electrical downtime is minimised.Participate in RCA, PSDM.Develop and maintain proper electrical maintenance systems.Actively participate in CSR Way Maintenance approach.Identify and work on skill deficiency in electrical trades people.Ensure good and proper communication with electrical employees.Ensure Electrical system comply to the Standards and Code.Complete design and installation of small to medium electrical projects.Attend Kiln and Dryer Alarms when required and leave descriptive paperwork detail. in the provided Kiln logbook.Adhere to safe systems of work in the workplace.Comply fully with the CSR WHSE Standard and Policy.Comply with all relevant safety, health and environment legislation. About You:Licenced NSW Electrician and up to date with Australian standards.Current valid drivers license.Licenses - Working at heights, Confined Space, Forklift & EWP essential. Lock out/tag out experience preferred.Mechanical ability and understanding.Problem solving & Analysis & Decision making (PSDM).Root Cause Analysis (RCA).Quality Assurance & planning.Understand rules and regulation: Industrial, Health and Safety, Environment.Drawing preparation.Writing code for PLC and SCADA.Documentation control.Hydraulic control systems.
