Your opportunity to join our team
In this role you will be supporting our Night Shift Maintenance team in attending to repairs and breakdowns of production machinery between 21:00pm and 05:06am. We are looking for an experienced maintenance fitter to support the team.
This role is a Sunday -Thursday roster from 2100 to 0506, reporting in to the Maintenance Night Shift Team leader.

Daily Tasks
- Stripping down and setting up machinery
- Assisting with the Mechanical/ Electrical and Refrigeration trades with breakdowns
- Ability to use basic Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) functions
- Ensure zero harm by adherence to Company food safety, GMP, QA and workplace health and safety audits.
- Take corrective action within the scope of one’s own competence and report to Team Lead.
- Support fellow employees and ask about work Hazards.
- Maintain safe housekeeping.
- Store duties including Forklift, Strapping, packing, receipting goods and picking for assembly.
- Introduction to work areas.
- Introduction to site systems, familiar with Outlook, the Company’s Intranet, and CMMS
- Develop communication skills within work groups and participate in site training as required
- Work that is ancillary to trade qualified employees
You will bring to this role
- Person with Mechanical experience (maintenance experience highly regarded)
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Good attention to detail
- Strong commitment and communication skills

- Sound interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships, and collaborate effectively
- Proven skills in information processing and problem solving with the ability to multitask
