Your role will involve direct patient care, counselling, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver holistic care and ensure safe and effective management of withdrawal and co-occurring physical and mental health conditions.
You will also work closely with other AOD service streams and related sectors to provide an integrated catchment-wide service response.
What’s on offerNo nights or weekend work! It’s a part-time role with the option to work between 26.6 to 34.2 hours per week during weekdays between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm.
In addition to base salary hourly rate and superannuation, you’ll also receive 17.5% leave loading and the ability to increase your take-home pay by accessing up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits that can be used on living expenses such as groceries, bills, clothing, streaming services, and much more.

About you- Your approach is to meet people where they are at, you are empathetic, patient, and non-judgemental.
- You have clinical experience in an AOD, and or mental health, and an understanding of harm reduction, substance abuse, and withdrawal care.
- You have current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Division 1 and a current driver’s licence.
- Your interpersonal and communication skills enable you to work well with clients and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- You have a Certificate IV in AOD and competencies in mental health dual diagnosis or a willingness to complete.
