This is a Fixed Term Part Time, appointment until 30 June 2026 at 45.60 hours with the possibility of extension (s) and/or permanency.
Position Profile: This rewarding role offers the chance to develop, implement, and assess educational programmes for nurses specialising in child Palliative Care. We seek an experienced and enthusiastic individual who can leverage their clinical knowledge and skills to support the QuoCCA (Quality of Care Collaborative Australia) project. This nationally funded initiative aims to enhance the knowledge and capabilities of healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the WA QuoCCA Allied Health Educator and the WA PPCS (WA Paediatric Palliative Care Service). This role presents a fulfilling opportunity to make a significant impact. You'll work collaboratively and play a pivotal role with colleagues across Western Australia and beyond, empowering, and equipping nurses to deliver exceptional care to children and their families during a challenging time.
About Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH): is Western Australia's specialist paediatric hospital and trauma centre, with 298 beds. - Describe your clinical experience and your leadership style in in how you deliver education? (Related to essential criteria 2)
- Can you outline a recent educational program you developed and implemented? (Related to essential criteria 4)
- How do you stay current with research and best practice principals and where this is applicable to delivery of education in Palliative Care? (Related to essential criteria 5)
- A current resume which summarises your experience and contains phone & email contact details of 2 professional referees, with at least 1 being a recent supervisor/line manager.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service.
