An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and experienced Heart Failure Registered Nurse Practitioner/ Clinical Nurse Consultant to join the cardiology team for a 6 month fixed term contract.
The role would require working within the Cardiology Department as part of the multidisciplinary team to work within the existing heart failure team. The Heart Failure Nurse Practitioner (NP)/ Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) is a senior nurse clinician operating within the Department of Cardiology and General Medicine at Austin Health (AH). The role has a strong focus on promotion of cardiovascular nursing excellence, and provision of high-quality evidence based specialised care to patients with heart failure.
The Heart Failure NP/CNC role aims to optimise patient outcomes and add value to the consumer experience across the care continuum. The Heart Failure NP/CNC is responsible for a number of service-development, research and quality assurance activities relevant to Cardiology.
