Canberra Imaging Group (CIG) is currently seeking a dynamic RN to join our small team of dedicated Nurses. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, with a desire to exceed client expectations, and possess a strong sense of responsibility.
CIG is a Sonic Healthcare owned entity, providing comprehensive diagnostic imaging services to the ACT and surrounding NSW. CIG has provided the highest quality medical imaging services to the local community for over 60 years through employment and development of exceptional staff, investment in technology, and demonstrated clinical expertise.
The Role
You will assist the medical imaging team in providing a wide variety of diagnostic and interventional radiology services. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting Radiologists, Radiographers, Sonographers, and Nuclear Medicine Technologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Pre and post procedural patient preparation and care.
- Care of hospital inpatients whilst in the Radiology department.
- Scrub, scout, and recovery responsibilities in our Angiography and Interventional Suite.
Skills and Experience
Minimum 2 years post qualification. Radiology experience not necessarily required, however, must be self-motivated, flexible, and keen to learn.
Eligibility Criteria:
- AHPRA Nursing Board registration
- Full work rights in Australia with no restrictions
