About you
As Cath lab NUM you will manage 2 labs, both with brand new Phillips integrated systems. You will be joining us at a time where we are actively building our service and feeding into what has become a very successful and growing cardiothoracic program.
Duties:
- You will work closely with and report to the Director of Clinical Services in the efficient management of the unit.
- You will facilitate a learning culture to ensure continuous improvement
- Maintain professional and constructive working relationships with our VMO partners, using a customer service mindset, to enable high quality patient outcomes.
- Provide clinical operational direction for the unit to ensure efficient and effective management by coordinating the delivery of nursing care that is evidence based.
- Be accountable and responsible for the effective daily management of human, financial and material resources
- Coordinate and drive clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
- Undertake direct patient care and support staff when required.

Essential Criteria:
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination status
- Current Registration with the AHPRA
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Cath lab setting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven commitment to customer service.
- Proven commitment to a team environment.
Desirable Criteria:
- Previous experience in Management/Nurse Unit Manager role
- Grad Certificate in Critical Care
- Certificate 4 in training and assessment
