About the Opportunity
Your role will be to effectively undertake general nursery work including driving tractors, potting and monitoring plants, debudding, weeding, moving trays and relocation of potted plants within the nursery, applying foliar insecticide/fungicide sprays/ chemical treatments and preparing deliveries in accordance with quarantine requirements for their orchards across Australia. This position is located at Alstonville on the beautiful North Coast Region of NSW.

- Forklift licence highly preferable but not necessary
- Current drivers licence with the ability to drive a manual vehicle
- Willingness to handle chemicals as and when required
- Safe handling of chemicals certificate preferred
- Potting and monitoring plants, debudding, moving trays and relocation of potted plants within nursery
- Apply foliar insecticide/fungicide sprays and chemical treatments in accordance with quarantine requirements
- Operate and maintain skid steer, forklift, tractor and mowers
- Assist with preparatory work for dispatch of plants
- Undertake mother orchard work (field work)
- Ensure compliance with company Work Place Health and Safety and Environmental Standards
- Maintain general nursery hygiene and ad hoc nursery duties as and when required
