Balhannah Nurseries is a long established (over 135 years) production nursery based in the Adelaide Hills. We grow deciduous fruit and ornamental trees and supply retail outlets and commercial fruit growers across Australia.We need someone to join us who enjoys driving tractors, working outdoors and being part of a supportive, dedicated team.
Qualifications & experience
- Horticultural Experience
- Current Drivers Licence
- Experience in Tractor Operations
- ChemCert accreditation
- Self motivated
Tasks & responsibilities
- Monitoring and maintaining good plant health through spray programs and fertilisation
- Scheduling irrigation and maintining the watering system
- Weed control and mowing of grassed areas
- Assisting in order collation
- Record keeping of chemical usage and machinery maintenance
