Established in 1946, Southern Plants is a progressive wholesale nursery that has stood the test of time to become one of Australia's largest wholesale production nurseries. With a strong focus on our people, sustainability, new technology and continuous improvement, we are on an exciting journey of growth and development.
Our plants are Sustainably Grown with Natural sunlight and heat, recycled water, composted bark potting mix and slow-release fertiliser.
When you buy one of our branded plants, they come with an Australian Made pot and label made from recycled materials
We have several positions available in different areas of our Nursery as a Casual, with fulltime hours.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Preparing plant for Sale
- Picking & Packing
- Weeding
- Labelling
- Stacking
- General nursery duties
- Role is working inside on a production line
No prior experience required.
The hours for the roles are (Monday – Thursday 7am – 3.45pm) & (Friday 7.45am – 12.45pm). Additional hours over the busy Spring/Summer period may be required.
Casual roles through our Spring/Summer periods with full-time 38 hours per week.
We can not offer the 88 Days for the extension of Visa's.
