POSITION DESCRIPTION:
As a Nursing Support Worker at Oasis Care, you will be an integral part of a dedicated team focused on providing high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities. This role involves directly assisting clients in their daily activities, supporting their personal development, and helping them achieve greater levels of independence and community involvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients in skill development activities aimed at enhancing their independence.
- Facilitate community participation by accompanying clients to various activities and events.
- Monitor and document client progress and provide feedback to healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with other team members to tailor support approaches to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all clients.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Australian Citizens and Permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
- Minimum AQF Certificate II
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a support role, preferably within a disability care setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassion and dedication to improving the lives of others.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to the varying needs of clients.
