Miracle Babies Foundation is Australia's leading organisation supporting premature and sick newborns, their families and the hospitals that care for them.

Every year in Australia around 48,000 newborn babies require the help of a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) or Special Care Nursery (SCN). 27,000 of these babies are premature and up to 1,000 babies lose their fight for life. Our Vision is to provide Better, Healthier Outcomes for all newborns and their families challenged by prematurity and sickness.

The NurtureProgram Officer - Resources & Campaigns is part of a dedicated team providing Better, Healthier Outcomes to families with premature and sick newborns by providing administration and operational support to the NurtureProgram Department working closely with the CEO and other departments, NurtureProgram Support Staff and Volunteers to ensure families, volunteers and health professionals are accurately and swiftly delivered programs, services and resources. 

This person will be a special kind of person who can align themselves with Miracle Babies Foundation’s vision who genuinely cares about supporting families with premature and sick newborns.  This person will have strong relationship building skills to maintain important relationships internally and externally.

The NurtureProgram Officer will have highly developed organisation skills and time management skills with the capability to prioritise and report whilst having stock taking and inventory experience is desired.  Working with all departments, volunteers and meeting strict deadlines is a must.  A personal or strong direct link to the NICU/SCN experience is seen as necessary.

This role works closely with volunteers within NurtureProgram, Miracle Babies reception and the NurtureProgram Officers. Administration duties and reporting are a further priority for the role.

  • Highly developed organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and arrange meetings and appointments.

  • Have the ability to work in a fast paced and growing environment.
  • This may require the employee to exercise limited judgment and initiative within the range of their skills and knowledge.
  • Stock taking and inventory experience.

This role is a part-time role - 22 hours per week.

Location: Head Office – Moorebank

COVID-19 Vaccination certification - The successful candidate for this position will be required to provide evidence of their double vaccination status.
