About the Role:
An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Obstetric & Gynaecology Medical Practitioner within the Women and Children's division
The successful applicant will
  • Be responsible for managing the care of all patients allocated to their current department in consultation with the responsible Consultants, Resident Medical Officers, Nurses and Allied Health professionals
  • Have involvement in Continuous Quality Improvement activities
  • Have involvement in continuing educational activities
  • Manage acute and elective gynaecological presentations
  • Manage acute and elective births
  • Attend Antenatal clinics and Gynaecology clinics
  • Participate in the 24 hour obstetric and gynaecology roster
  • Involvement in obstetric and gynaecology operating lists
  • Involved in administration as directed by the Senior Registrar
The role would be suitable for a senior RANZCOG trainee or partially comparable SMIG
To be eligible for this position, you must have Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration
The Total Indicative Remuneration figure is calculated taking into account base salary, leave loading and superannuation as well as managerial allowances, professional development or any other allowances where appropriate.
