The Position:This is an incredible opportunity to work as an Obstetrics & Gynaecology Registrar at the region’s largest hospital.You will be working as part of a traditional firm of doctors, including consultant, other registrars, medical officers and commonly interns too. On average you will work for 38-45 hours per week. CQ Health provides public health services across Central Queensland to a growing population of approximately 250,000 people and employ more than 3,700 staff, treating more than 700,000 patients each year.To reflect the growing demand for health care in the region, the hospital has been redeveloped, and now boasts state of the art medical equipment.The hospital provides specialist services that include emergency, general medicine, general surgery, gastroenterology, gynaecology, cardiology, mental health, maternity, medical oncology, paediatrics, palliative care, orthopaedics, rheumatology, occupational therapy, social work, urology and many other specialty areas.Requirements:1. General, Provisional or limited registration with AHPRA2. IMG’s that have completed the AMC MCQ (part 1) or Competent Authority Pathway (training in the UK, USA, NZ, Canada or Ireland)3.
