The role manages all Liberty Primary Steel (LPS) Occupational Health programs in Whyalla to ensure the appropriate health management strategies are implemented for our workforce.
Responsibilities include:
Manage all Occupational Health programs for the LPS business
Manage pre-employment and periodic medical assessments
Manage and implement the LPS Health Monitoring Program in accordance with business frameworks and legal requirements
Design and implement risk-based health promotion initiatives across LPS
Maintain accurate and confidential electronic medical records of all LPS health assessments
Ensure the integrity and hygiene of the medical facilities and all associated equipment is maintained
Ensure appropriate availability of equipment, supplies and stock is maintained to operate health assessment facilities efficiently.
We are looking for a Registered Nurse who is a highly motivated individual fostering a proactive and preventative approach to health and hygiene management.
You will ideally have:
Tertiary qualified Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
Experience conducting pre-employment and periodic medical assessments (desirable)
AQTF Accreditation for drug and alcohol testing (desirable)
Experience in the development and management of risk-based health promotion
A strong internal and external customer service focus
