Qualifications & experience
- Eligibility to register and practice as an Occupational Therapist in Australia, with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia, and meet the Board's registration standards as per the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and Medicare Australia
- Can work with neurodiverse clients flexibly and in an affirming way across the lifespan
- Willingness to embrace new technology and integration of technology into treatment
- Willingness to work collaboratively in a shared care model
- Familiarity working with practice-based evidence and outcome evaluation
- Willingness to participate in innovative approaches to clinical practice
- Ability to work autonomously, working with the Clinical Director while responding to the needs of the clinic
- Compliance with the clinic’s WHS policy, and government legislation
- Actively contribute to practice activities, including but not limited to team meetings, social activities and community involvement
- Current National Police and NSW Working with Children Checks Current COVID-19 Vaccination as per NSW Health Schedule
- Hold a valid NSW drivers licence and own car
- Current ABN and maintain Professional Indemnity & Public Liability
Tasks & responsibilities
- Assessing, developing and implementing interventions and programs for clients specific needs and goals
- Collaborate with allied health team members, including psychologists, dietitian, and exercise physiologist, to ensure coordinated care and optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate client progress notes and treatment intervention plans in accordance with regulatory standards
