About Beyond Perception:
We're a multi disciplinary team dedicated to innovative, compassionate therapy, including the unique support of our therapy dog. We seek Occupational Therapists who are passionate about making a significant difference in the lives of children and their families.
Position Overview:
Join us as an Occupational Therapist to be an integral part of our early intervention team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with families and be actively involved in educational settings, ensuring seamless implementation and consistency of therapeutic recommendations.
On your mission you'll be instrumental in helping children achieve their utmost potential. You'll specialize in developing and delivering services and programs in Victoria's rural communities, utilizing our unique Fly in Fly out (FIFO) model. Accompanied by our therapy dog, you will also create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:(not limited to):
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop customized reports and Intervention plans
- Work closely with our team of AHA's and support any training required for the delivery of intervention plans
- Provide expert Occupational Therapy services, depending on your specialization
- Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers and educators, empowering them to support the child's development
- Maintain meticulous records of client progress and documentation
- Stay current with the latest developments and best practices in your field
- Be an inspiring force for positive change in the lives of children and their families
Qualifications and Requirements: (not limited to)
- Certified Occupational Therapist with AHPRA registration
- Working with Children Check
- Driver’s License
- Police Check
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, compassion, and a passion for helping children and their families
