Founded and run by Regina our #1 OT, SSRG understands what it's like to be a graduate Occupational Therapist. Our OT team offers understanding, support and coaching in a wonderful team environment. You’ll be working in the community with adults (16yrs +): in client's homes, at supplier show rooms, at the local supermarket, in our clinic, each day at SSRG is different. But the best part is our office home base in the middle of Maroochydore, where you’ll be surrounded by a team of OT’s and plenty of chats and laughter! The right mix of support and autonomy.
With over 20 years experience here on the Sunshine Coast our dedicated New Graduate program is positioned to support you throughout your first year with:
- Comprehensive onboarding, training, support and direct supervision all provided by our skilled and experienced clinicians and leaders
- Weekly supervision and CPD
- The right mix of support, supervision and autonomy.
- On-site support from our clinical and admin teams
- Prioritisation of growth through opportunities for sponsored professional development and career progression.
- Ability to collaborate with MDT, doing joint sessions and projects where relevant
- Realistic Workload expectations.
- Regular social and team building events
- Modern, equipped offices with spacious work areas for you to collaborate and connect with your team.
- Exposure to Aged Care, NDIS, DVA and private funding streams
- Development in skill and knowledge in the areas of ADL assessment and retraining, assistive technology scripting, home modifications, cognitive assessment and therapy, transfer assessment and training and pressure care management.
- Supply of Car, laptop and Ipad.
As we work across multiple funding streams, a position with SSRG will provide many opportunities for you to consolidate and extend your clinical and professional skills within an adult community space. What you'll need:
Formal qualifications in Occupational Therapy by Dec 2024
AHPRA by Jan 2025
NDIS Worker Screening check, police check, first aid certificate
Current Driver’s License
