In this role you will provide professional specific services and consultation as required within the team and the service. Working collaboratively with consumers and multidisciplinary professionals within a multidisciplinary team to provide Mental Health services including intake and assessment, intervention, case management duties and group work as required.The Community Mental Health Service provides community-based assessment and treatment using case management in the context of a multi-disciplinary team, for people with moderate to severe Mental Health problems. The Community Mental Health Service maintains close relationships with all facets of the integrated service and other government and non-government departments to respond to need and optimise consumer outcomes.Role requirements
- The successful applicant must hold a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification from an accredited tertiary institution in Occupational Therapy. Registration with the Occupational Therapist Board Australia (AHPRA) is required.
- This position requires the incumbent to operate a class 'C' motor vehicle, and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required.
