Occupational Therapist

We are recruiting for an Occupational Therapist to join a wonderful organisation on the beautiful South Coast of NSW – around Milton / Jervis Bay. This organisation have been around for a number of years, have an excellent reputation in the local area and work predominantly within the NDIS and also have private clients. The role would mainly be focussed on working with children / in Paediatrics. They see people in their centre and also do some work in the community and in the local schools. They also have a number of projects you could become involved with.

Details of the position:

• Full Time or Part time hours available
• Possibility for Relocation Assistance if needed
• Varied role in a Multidisciplinary team
• Two office / clinic locations – one in Milton and one in Sanctuary Point
• Support with professional development and career progression
• Salary range from $75-100k depending on experience

This organisation have been providing services to the local community for a number of years. They have a number of experienced Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Music and Art Therapists and other staff who provide services and have and excellent reputation for their work. They have two fantastic centres where they work out of and a strong focus on employee satisfaction and enjoyment.

Duties

• Provide Occupational Therapy and support services to address the specific needs of the child and maintain a clinical caseload
• Collaborate, plan and implement interventions and support
• Work alongside other Allied Health Professionals, support staff and management
• Work in a variety of settings including the clinic, within the child’s home or in local schools
• Write reports, provide recommendations and work closely with other organisations
• Continually evaluate the goals of the child to ensure the support is in line with what the child and family are looking to achieve

Requirements:

• A degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA
