The Position:
- Full or part-time permanent position based in our Canberra (Garran) Centre
- Support children with autism aged 2 - 6 years to develop self-care skills, play and social skills and school readiness preparation
- Join a transdisciplinary team of peers in Behaviour Therapy, Speech Pathology and Early Education
- Work with our wonderful children and utilise your skills as an Occupational Therapist with the principles of Behaviour Analysis (which we help you develop)
- Create and implement early intervention programs that assist our children to enhance their independence and quality of life.
- You are a passionate Occupational Therapist seeking a purposeful and meaningful vocation to make a significant difference in the lives of children with autism.
- You are equipped with a tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, or are about to graduate.
- You have current AHPRA registration, or able to obtain
- Have your COVID-19 Vaccination certificate (double-dosed) or able to obtain before commencement (or have an approved exemption)
- Have a Positive Working with Vulnerable People Check (or able to obtain before commencement)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check required if your WWVP check was applied for or renewed post 1 February 2021
