AddressA fun loving and busy family in O’Connor are seeking a calm, patient and nurturing nanny to care for their boys (3 yr old and 5 month old)
The days and normal hours are:- 3 days – 24 hours per week
Monday,Wednesday, Thursday 6.30/7.00am - 2.30/3.00pm
An ideal nanny will be friendly, kind, calm, patient and nurturing.
A nanny that is experienced in engaging and having fun with the children providing stimulating and creative indoor and outdoor activities which will support the children’s learning milestones and development.
The family are looking for a nanny who has good life skills, is reliable, trustworthy and can form a lovely bond with their family and support Mum with the day to day running of the household.
The nanny must be comfortable with the Mum working from home.
Someone who has a genuine passion and love of children and enjoys supporting busy families.
Prior experience with these different age groups and caring for multiple children at once is highly advantageous for this role.
The 3yr will be home 2 days out of the 3. On the day he is at day care the nanny may be required to help with drop off and pick up.
The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows –
- To care for the children
- Follow the children's routine
- Play and engage age appropriate creative activities/outings to assist in the
children’s development - Take out to activities ie park, playground etc
- Prep and cook family meals on occasion
- Light household duties ie Laundry, tidying, stacking and emptying dishwasher, picking up toys - Any extra assistance to help the family out would be greatly appreciated'
- Grocery Shopping and Running errands (Occasionally)
The family’s expectations from their nanny are –
- 5+ years experience as a nanny or working in child care
- Childcare qualifications preferred
- Have a current first aid certificate
- Have a current working with children’s check number
- Display strong communication skills and speak English
- To be fit, healthy and active
- Non smoking
- Able to prepare and cook basic family meals
- Full drivers licence required and clean driving record
