OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR - DATA ENTRY, PROCESSING & SCHEDULING

We are an established mattress and bed manufacturer seeking a vibrant, organised, self-motivated Office Administrator to join our established dynamic organization on a permanent full-time basis. In this position you will be mainly responsible for the day-to-day planning, scheduling and programming of orders and liaising with management accordingly. The applicant will also be experienced in invoicing and will perform general office duties such as answering calls, assisting customers, and directing enquiries.

Key Responsibilities for this role:

  • Collating and processing orders into MYOB and Internal Systems
  • Planning and organizing daily manufacturing programs with guidance and approval from management
  • Maintaining and performing accurate stock records of manufactured goods
  • Assisting customers with everyday enquiries both verbally and written
  • Invoicing
  • Co-ordinating deliveries
  • General office duties including answering phones and filing

To be successful for this role you must demonstrate:

  • A vibrant demeanour, strong customer focus and willingness to learn
  • Proactive attitude, enthusiasm and eagerness to complete the job in a timely manner
  • Prior experience handling administrative responsibilities. Experience as a scheduler would be advantageous, but is not crucial.
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). MYOB experience would certainly be beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and an ability to interact with all levels of staff
  • Excellence in customer service and building rapport
  • Experience in the bedding industry, would be an advantage, but is not essential
