About Us:

Lemac is a major player in the supply of equipment for the film and television industry.  We are family owned and operated with offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane and have been around since 1975. 

The Role:

You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the front office/reception area whilst providing administrative support for both the sales, rentals and service areas of the business.

Ideally you will be very experienced in an office administration role and be extremely personable, positive, and outgoing. 

We are seeking highly organised, enthusiastic professionals with a strong and committed work ethic. You will be a key part of the team. 

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years' experience in an Admin/Reception role. 

About the Role:

  • Manage and oversee the operation of the reception desk including receiving, screening, and directing calls, attending to requests and greeting visitors.
  • Expected to develop an understanding of the company’s business and customers.
  • Manage the office budget in partnership with the Financial Controller, including approval of relevant supplier invoices.
  • Daily banking and reconciliations.
  • Internal communications with head office in Melbourne
  • Organise and monitor couriers for pick-up and delivery, ensuring timely notification and distribution of incoming items. 
  • Process orders/invoices/and receipting/barcoding of stock to support the sales, service and rentals team. This will include assisting with freight and customer collection.
  • Oversee ordering of office and kitchen supplies.
  • Negotiate and build relationships with key suppliers to ensure the best quality, price, and service.
  • Coordinate and maintain communal kitchen and meeting areas effectively.
  • Event coordination and set up.
  • Take on the role of first aid and fire warden in line with company procedures. 

About you:

  • Exceptional attitude, communication, and interpersonal skills are key to success in this role.
  • Experience in office co-ordination.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive nature: you have a solution-oriented approach and are a team player.
  • Efficient and competent in Microsoft Office suite.
  • An interest in the film and television business would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Australian Driver's License
