Based in Manly, NSW, we are seeking an Office Manager who is proactive, dynamic, and ready to join our close-knit team.
Position Overview:
This role plays a pivotal role in the smooth operation of the business.
Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including office administration, coordination of meetings, support for the team, and more.
They are looking for an individual who is a self-starter, an effective communicator, and passionate about our values and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the front-of-house, welcoming visitors in a professional and helpful manner and managing incoming calls.
- Handle general office administration, including mail, office cleaning, stationery, and the office phone system.
- Manage and coordinate office and management meetings, including agenda setting, recording, and tracking action items.
- Provide general support to our Sydney-based team of 14, including research and analysis.
- Organise team activities, offsite events, and social functions as part of a social committee.
- Manage travel and accommodation for the team when necessary, including site rosters during project construction phases.
- Coordinate speaking engagements and liaise with other team members when required.
- Assist in IT project coordination to streamline existing systems.
- Potentially manage the coordination of a new office move (details to be determined).
- Assist with diary and travel management.
- Coordinate meetings with external stakeholders.
- Relevant degree and significant office management experience.
- Highly motivated with a strong desire to manage the office effectively.
- Outgoing, friendly, and approachable personality.
- Effective written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability to new challenges.
- Ability to take initiative and act independently to resolve issues.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport and long-term relationships.
