Position: On-Site Industry Trainer
Location: Greenham Gippsland
Schedule: Monday to Friday

Role Overview:

As an On-Site Industry Trainer at Greenham Gippsland, you will play a pivotal role in training and developing our workforce in various aspects of meat processing, with a focus on slaughtering, boning, and slicing beef. This position is Monday to Friday and is integral to maintaining our high-quality standards and ensuring our employees are equipped with the skills necessary for success in the meat industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Training Delivery: Conduct hands-on training sessions for employees in slaughtering, boning, and slicing beef.
  • Skill Development: Assess skill levels and develop training plans to enhance employee proficiency.
  • Safety Standards: Ensure all training activities adhere to strict safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Procedure Compliance: Train employees on company procedures, including quality control measures and industry best practices.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of new employee Inductions, training sessions, progress, and employee certifications.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with management to identify areas for improvement in training programs.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to new employees to facilitate their integration into the team.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in the meat industry, particularly in slaughtering, boning, and slicing beef.
  • Training Expertise: Proven ability to deliver effective training programs with all aspects from Paddock to Plate.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications or qualifications in meat processing or training (e.g., Certificate II - III in Meat Processing).
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively deliver training materials.
  • Safety Focus: Strong understanding of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and management to achieve training objectives.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in training and documentation.
