AusMech Mining Services is a reputable company that has just extended our Service contract with a major client in the Pilbara. This extension will require line boring and machining 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week On Site. Working on a large mixed fleet of mining equipment from CAT to Hitachi.
We are a mining services company that have been achieving and will continue to exceed the clients standards and our own goals.

Qualifications & experience
- Line Borer
- Or Fitter Machinist with ID welding experience,
- Or Boilermaker that has machining experience.
- Either of these tradesmen with a willingness to learn new skills will be looked at favourably.
- Being able to work efficiently as a highly regarded team member is essential.
- Experience is good, but ability and enthusiasm are by far more important.
- On the Job training will be made available if required.
- Mine site experience.
- MR Licence minimum requirement
Tasks & responsibilities
- Refurbishing bores and shafts back to OEM specifications on a large range of mining equipment. Measure components for Wear and Report Findings. Communicate findings with the client.
- Ensuring all WHS requirements are adhered On Site for both the Client and Employer.
- All aspects regarding line boring.
- In situ machining. Operating a Journal Lathe
- This position requires the candidate to be self-motivated, willing to go out of their way to achieve the perfect result.
- Team player.
- Assist the clients maintenance team in maintaining a large fleet of Mining Equipment in the Pilbara on a FI/FO basis.
