Job Summary:

The Online Trade Manager is responsible for driving sales growth across our website and various online marketplaces. This role involves managing promotions, overseeing account management with marketplaces, handling sales including wholesale and bulk orders, onboarding new marketplaces, and integrating dropship vendors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ecommerce, sales, and account management, with a keen understanding of online marketplace dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ecommerce Management:
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company’s ecommerce website and ensure optimal performance.
    • Develop and implement promotional strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
    • Monitor website analytics and KPIs, and provide insights and recommendations to improve performance.
  2. Marketplace Account Management:
    • Manage relationships with online marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, and others.
    • Ensure product listings are optimized and comply with marketplace standards.
    • Monitor marketplace performance metrics and take corrective actions to address any issues.
    • Handle negotiations and agreements with marketplace representatives to maximize sales opportunities.
  3. Sales & Wholesale Orders:
    • Manage and grow wholesale and bulk order sales channels.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key wholesale clients and partners.
    • Coordinate with the sales team to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of bulk orders.
    • Identify new sales opportunities and develop strategies to capture them.
  4. Onboarding Marketplaces:
    • Identify and evaluate new online marketplaces to expand the company’s reach.
    • Oversee the onboarding process for new marketplaces, ensuring seamless integration and compliance.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all necessary product data and assets are prepared for new marketplace launches.
  5. Onboarding Dropship Vendors:
    • Identify and onboard new dropship vendors to enhance product offerings.
    • Negotiate terms and agreements with dropship vendors.
    • Ensure vendors comply with the company’s quality and fulfillment standards.
    • Monitor vendor performance and address any issues to maintain high service levels.
  6. Promotions & Marketing:
    • Plan and execute promotional campaigns across the website and marketplaces to boost sales.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content and promotional materials.
    • Analyze the effectiveness of promotional activities and adjust strategies as needed.
  7. Performance Analysis & Reporting:
    • Track and analyze sales performance across all ecommerce channels.
    • Prepare regular reports on sales, marketplace performance, and promotional activities.
    • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in ecommerce management, sales, and account management.
  • Proven track record of managing online marketplaces and driving sales growth.
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms, marketplace dynamics, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in using ecommerce and analytics tools (e.g., Shopify, Magento, Amazon Seller Central, Google Analytics).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with wholesale and bulk order sales.
  • Familiarity with dropshipping models and vendor management.
  • Knowledge of SEO, PPC, and other digital marketing techniques.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
