This role is responsible for managing the development and implementation of Operational Communications to Five Good Friends Members (Care recipients and their families), Helpers (Care workers), Third party partners (allied health and other service providers) and staff.  While an entry level marketing role, it is of great importance to the business and our customers. This role will provide the right individual with the opportunity to learn about our customers and brand. In this role you will work with senior stakeholders to develop a calendar and suite of communications that will keep our members, helpers, third party partners and staff informed of key activities, actions, and events. This will include updates on evolving natural disasters, through to annual changes in pricing.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the Marketing team and other senior stakeholders to produce and publish clear, concise, and engaging communications for a range of audiences.
  • Tailor communication to a range of distribution channels including web, e-mail, sms, and social media. 
  • Ensure planned communications are sent on time to the correct audience.
  • Ensure all communications are correct, consistent, functional (e.g. working links) and grammatically correct.
  • Ensure the tone of voice and language aligns to our brand identity.  
  • Assist with other promotion and marketing across multiple platforms including events, online, social media 
  • Undertake and support other tactical and branding marketing activities.  

Reporting & Analysis

  • Monitor and report on campaign performance
  • Analyse data for trends and opportunities to improve communication performance.
  • Prepare and support quality audits with evidence of communication activity and effectiveness. 

Your Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications or other related fields eg Journalism.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with senior stakeholders to ensure timely, effective, and targeted communications. 
  • Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal capabilities and ability to work cross-functionally with others.
  • Experience in or demonstrated competency to develop clear and concise Operational Communications
  • Experience in or demonstrated competency to manage a complex communications calendar across various channels and business priorities
  • Ability to take briefs or complex information and transform into engaging, easy to understand communications material.
  • Tech savvy and highly capable, with experience using content management systems, and digital communications platforms. 
  • Understanding of brand design principles and guidelines
  • Basic graphic design and multimedia content creation is desirable.
  • Innovative problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
  • Ability or willingness to learn and adapt to new digital technologies and platforms as they emerge.
