Employees at this level are subject to general direction and undertake a range of functions requiring the practical application of a high level of skills and knowledge, and /or the supervision of a small work group.
- Provide a comprehensive and confidential administration support service to the Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (MID) Directorate.
- Contribute to the effective and efficient operation of the MID laboratory service, acting as part of the leadership team. This involves assisting in the administration and monitoring of the laboratory services. This includes the supervision of staff; ensuring requests are processed in a timely manner, troubleshooting, participation in the day to day running of the area, monitoring staff performance against key performance indicators and providing feedback to staff on performance measures.
Statewide Clinical Support Services (SCSS) is a unique public healthcare organisation that serves health consumers and provides specialist clinical services to the health system in South Australia. SCSS encompasses BreastScreen SA, SA Dental, SA Medical Imaging, SA Pathology, and SA Pharmacy.
