We are an international Freight Forwarding company with the Head Office in China. Our company keeps steady growing with 16 branches including Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane branches. With recent internal changes & rapid expansion of our Australian branch, we have an opportunity for an Operations Coordinator / Customer Service role at our Sydney branch.
This is a great opportunity for candidates who have 2-3 years’ experience and getting into senior level of experience by a lot of exposures on imports and exports both Air and Sea.
There is an open-up opportunity to be promoted to a senior position within operation team.
Training will be provided.
Reporting to the Operation Supervisor and you will be accountable for:
Prompt turnaround of client queries;
To build and grow relationship with clients and team;
Advise management potential areas for revenue generation or improvement;
To identify and implement solutions in conjunction with management, aimed at continuous improvements within the team, including best practice sharing;
Update Customer SOP’s and ensure accuracy of system data;
Ensure Pre-alert, Arrival Notice, Tax invoice and outturn report to send to correct parties on time;
Maintain client updated of shipment progress, delays etc;
Ensure Customs declaration to be lodged on timely basis
Follow up of AQIS, COO, COA requirements if necessary
Ensure cartage send to transport on time with EDO;
Follow up delivery and empty collection
Invoicing and closing files
Remuneration is negotiable and will be based on the experience and capability of the successful candidate.
Working attitude is very important, this role is required candidates who have “can do” attitude, willing to learn and take challenges.
The majority of our business is Import Sea freight Ex. China to Australia, candidates who can speak fluent English and Chinese, have sound Freight Forwarding knowledge/experience and EDI software experience is an ideal.
