We are seeking an Operations Coordinator for our South West operations to play a crucial role in blending the responsibilities of operations management and coordination to drive efficiency and excellence in providing our clients with traffic management.

Role Summary:

The Operations Coordinator - South West combines the strategic oversight of an Operations Manager with the hands-on responsibilities of an Operations Coordinator. This role is responsible for ensuring the seamless daily, weekly, and monthly scheduling of operational employees and plant/equipment and maintaining high standards of compliance and client satisfaction. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Management: Proactively manage the program and schedule for all operational employees and equipment, ensuring optimal client satisfaction and resource utilisation.
• Team Leadership: Conduct daily crew meetings, oversee perational employees, including training, and conflict resolution.
• Client Communication: Communicate with clients professionally via email, ensuring timely responses and service delivery.
• Compliance and Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits and audits, ensuring compliance with legislation and high standards of quality.

Essential skills & experience

• Proven experience in operations management and coordination, ideally within the traffic management or similar industry.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Traffic Management (BWTM, TC required and ATWM is preferred).
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Assignar or similar scheduling software and MS Office suite.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly within the South West region.
