We would like to invite interested candidates to submit their applications for the position of Operations Fleet Dispatcher, based in Botany, NSW.
We are looking for a hands-on, quick thinking operator to control the daily dispatch of our courier fleet and our outside contractors.
The successful candidate must be able to work in a busy and fast paced environment, possessing both great attention to detail and excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for the duties and responsibilities outlined below.
This is an AM position, applicants must be able to commence as early as 6:00am.
This role also suits any applicant looking to start a career in the Transportation/Logistic field.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Full Time - Monday to Friday
- To maintain the professional image of UPS at all times
- Good knowledge of Sydney Metropolitan area
- Computer skills (incl MS Office applications, Excel), ability to use multiple screens at the same time.
- Must hold a current forklift ticket
- Open manual drivers licence (essential)
- Other daily tasks as specified by Operations Management
- Previous experience in driving or fleet allocation (preferred)
- Reliable and willing to work flexible hours
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised, with the ability to multi-task multiple projects and/or tasks at a time
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
