The bare roots of the job…
The Operations Forester NW will assist the Plantation Performance team with implementation of Forico’s forest operations including harvest planning, operations works programs, roading/construction, harvest and haulage operations, and contractor performance monitoring.
Who will join our journey…
This position would ideally suit an individual who has previously worked in forestry, agriculture, logistics or with heavy machinery.
The successful incumbent will have strong written and verbal communication skills, good interpersonal skills, the ability to establish and maintain working relationships, the ability to plan and meet deadlines, be a self-starter who can problem solve, make decisions and work autonomously or as a member of the team.
